West Virginia sometimes gets a bad rap, but Taylor Books in Charleston sure makes a strong case for it being a pretty great place. This great downtown local spot has a lot of books to choose from and a nice cafe where you can grab lunch and hang out for a bit, One of my favorite parts of this store was the explanation of why you should shop local written on the wall behind the cashier's area. You can see it in the last picture on the bottom here, but it says: You spend $100 local - $68 of it stays local.
